Info on Roller Derby
Game is called a Bout
There is an oval shaped track (skating rink) where the center and outside is off-limits.
Each period has n number of Jams
Each Jam can last up to 2 minutes.
Each team has X players. One player on each team is called the Jammer.
Initially the non-jammer players are bunched up and start skating.
Then the jammers start (behind the other players)
Each jammer has to skate through the crowd to become the Lead Jammer
The lead jammer has to go all the way around the track and come up behind the players on the other team. Now each time a player on the other team is passed by the lead jammer, the Lead Jammer's team scores a point.

First entry in 2nd Blog
Ok, so I already have a blog (johnsjavapda.blogspot.com) so why another one?
Well, I have been doing more with the Sun SPOT and I have a simple project in mind that I wanted to document without being a distraction to my main javapda blog.
The idea is to use a Sun SPOT to keep track of scores at a Roller Derby Match. While that description is rather specific, the application could be applied to many different score-like or click-type applications.
I also wanted a place to record the costs incurred over the course of the project.
